About Making Connections: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Cultural Diversity:

Formerly Making Connections:  An Interdisciplinary Journal for Teachers of Cultural Diversity, this journal was launched in 1997.  It is funded by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and the Frederick Douglass Institute Statewide Collaborative.  In Fall 2008, the journal moved to Bloomsburg University under the editoriship of Dr. Betina Entzminger after being under the editoriship of Dr. Uraina Pack at Clarion University from 2005-2008.  We are a peer-reviewed publication that seeks high-quality academic essays and creative writing from scholars and professionals across the nation. The journal is produced twice yearly, in the fall and in the spring.  Normally, each fall issue centers on a theme, and each spring issue is a general one.
