A Future in Technology

Technology
Workshops

Take part in a weekly technology workshop covering several IT topics. Each weekly meeting focuses on a different aspect of professional Information and Technology Management. Workshops feature extensive hands-on tutorials meant to immerse members in fields such as Web Development, Network Administration, Server and Database Administration, and even Consulting.

Real-World IT
Experience

Each semester, club members will be given the opportunity to participate in a real-world IT project. A project team consisting of interested students will be established to solve a real business or organizational problem by using their collective IT knowledge. Team members will gain experience by participating in activities such as Consulting, Researching IT Solutions, Providing IT Services, and Delivering or Deploying the final product.

Professional
Development

Take advantage of hands-on technology workshops and collaborative real-world projects to develop yourself as an IT professional. Enhance your resume with extra-curricular, volunteer, and industry-related involvement. Fill your current portfolio by taking part in IT introductory and skill-building activities, team-based assignments, and collaborative projects with other Bloomsburg University Student Organizations.
