2009 Conference Section

BUMUN is an opportunity for high school and university educators to work together with a powerful vehicle that prepares students to meet the particular challenges of today's world. Model UN is a wonderful program that simulates awareness of global issues, it also provides students at all levels of education with the research, analytical, and problem-solving skills necessary to active and full citizenship.

The BUMUN conference is hosted each spring semester for area high school students. MUNSO serves as the administrative body for the conference. It is a day long event that includes a lunch and breakfast snacks at the university.

Students have the opportunity to compete for awards in everything from public speaking and presentation to working papers at the BUMUN conference. BUMUN offers a healthy environment for learning and awareness.
