  2. Spring Break Alternative called ¡°Breaking Out¡±
Calling University students to an experience that might change their lives!
The Lutheran Student Movement-USA will hold its second annual Breaking out! Spring Break Servant Experience.
In each of three weeks in March, 2007, thirty students from all over the country will gather in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to serve the community during the day, and to hear from social ministry educators in the evening. Theological reflection sessions in the evening will tie the content of the day with their faith and prepare students to lead sevice projects where God calls.
The total cost per person of $75 includes travel, lodging, food and registration fees. The remaining cost is funded through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Applications are available at www.lsm-usa.org. To ensure diversity among students each week, we will accept only 2 students from the same college or university.
    God's peace,
