Supervisory Roundtable

In addition to providing quality training programs for Bloomsburg University staff and supervisors, the Roundtable coordinates numerous campus and community service activities. These include, but are not limited to:

Adopt-A-Highway
Highway cleanup. Our adopted highway is along Lightstreet Road, near the Route 80 ramp. Coordinated by the Supervisory Roundtable, other university staff/faculty are always encouraged to take part in this worthwhile event.

Cheer Fund
Developed to send greetings to colleagues for events such as births, marriages, illnesses, hospitalizations, funerals, etc.

Continuing Ed Workshops
Lunch-n-Learn sessions and workshops offered to faculty and staff. Past workshops included things such as effective writing, conflict management, HR ethics, workplace attitudes and D.I.R.T. (are you a Doer?  Influencer?  Relater?  Thinker?).

Fundraisers
Yearly fundraisers (sandwich, crab cake, train sales). Funds donated to initiatives/organizations such as Camp Hero, Bloomsburg Children's Museum, Katrina and Tsunami Relief Funds, and academic scholarships.

Just Because Coffee
Coffee and cookies provided to students, faculty and staff in the spring and fall "just because" - to share cheer!
