2017 Theme: Global Inequality and Human Rights

The Global Awareness Society International promotes research and education in matters related to Globalization.

The Global Awareness Society International invites papers for its 26th Annual International Conference from a wide variety of disciplines delving into the many impacts of globalization. Papers are roughly grouped under the categories,(1) Humanities and Social Sciences, (2) Education, (3) Business and Economics, and (4) Science and Technology.(5) Human Rights.

A proposal must include the following:

Indivdual Paper Presentation Proposals:

Presentations are scheduled into 90 minute periods each with 5 presenters. Each room is equipped with LCD projector and laptop computer loaded with PowerPoint and other presentation software. Participants may use USB thumb drives, CD’s, or DVD’s. Wi-Fi will be available though no guarantees are made with regard to the speed or quality of transmission.

Thematic Sessions Proposals:

Sessions with 4 or 5 papers on a particular theme may be proposed. The proposal should include a Session Title and Concept statement along with abstracts and titles for the papers to be included in the session. All authors' information must be included. (See requirements above.)

Submitting your abstract:

Email your abstract and/or paper to both Program Chair, Hiram Martinez, HMartinez@WCUPA.edu and co-Chair Sarah Oliphant, oliphants@cua.edu. Receipt of submissions will be acknowledged via email within 3 days. Participants must complete registration prior to the scheduling of their paper.

Submitting a paper to the Proccedings of the 26th Annual Conference

Complete papers of presentations may be submitted to GASI for review and inclusion on the Conference Proceedings.

All conference presenters must pay registration fees in order to have their paper scheduled on the program. Proposal deadline is MARCH 31, 2017 and pre-registration deadline is March 31, 2017. Register here.
